Tips to Get Fast Abs for Dummies

We all know that it’s not possible to get amazing abs over night, but it is possible to build your abs in a short amount of time. The downside is that there are going to be a lot of common habits in your life that you’ll have to get rid of. There aren’t any easy “cheats” to get fast abs that look nice. But still, it’s not a dream to get 6-pack abs if you follow these tips.

First of all, and the most obvious of all, is that you need to exercise in order to get fast abs! However, you can’t just do any exercise. You need to choose exercises that work all of the areas in and around your abs. The abdominal muscles consist of many types of muscle regions, and working out each of the regions is important in order for you to get nice abs. There are some very effective exercises that will help you out when you’re looking to get great fast abs.

Before you go out and try out those exercises however, you must consider your body’s weaknesses and strengths. For those of you already have great muscles, then you won’t have to do much work to get your six packs. However, if you’re scrawny or have some fat, then you’re going to have to follow certain programs in addition to exercises in order to fix your weaknesses and gain fast abs.

If you’re a hardgainer (a “skinny guy” who has trouble gaining weight and muscles) or if you’re overweight, then you have to follow a good healthy diet. Everyone needs watch their food & supplement consumption. This is an important part of shaping your body. Everything you eat is going to affect the way your body develops its muscles. Everyone should be avoiding junk foods, high-fat foods, beers, soda, etc (even if you’re a hardgainer). Instead, you should be consuming low-fat foods, fish, grains, etc. You also should be taking multivitamins and supplements to fulfill your daily needs. These will help stregthen your body and help you get fast abs.

If you need to lose fat, then you’ll need a good program to fit you. You should be doing cardio exercises such as swimming, running, and stationary bikes. Only when your body has a low fat percent should you even consider doing ab exercises (if you do ab exercises when you have fat around the area, then people won’t see the 6-pack underneath the fat – you must get rid of the fat first!). One program I highly recommend to lose fat and get your body into a nice shape is “Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle,” by the personal trainer, Tom Venuto – It’s one of the best selling books in the weight loss industry, and is designed to make you build muscles. On the other hand, if you’re a hardgainer, you’re not going to want to do cardio (you’re already skinny… why get even skinnier?) – The key is that you’re going to have work a lot harder. That means you’re going to have to eat significantly more healthy foods and you’re going to have to work out more intensively. You need the food to give your body energy, and you need to weight lift intensively so that your body keeps the weight from your food as muscles, not fat. You’re going to have to work your body hard so that your entire physique (including your abs) will look nice. A program I recommend for this is Vince Delmonte’s No Nonsense Muscle Building, a book that was written for skinny guys. He teaches you the proper dieting and weight lifting techniques, and even gives you a workout plan that you can use for an entire year. Read my No Nonsense Muscle Building Review

Whatever your body type is, skinny, fat, or built, you should remember to not put lots of strain on your ab muscles when you’re trying to get fast abs. You shouldn’t work them out everyday because your body needs a good amount of time to recover itself from all of your other strength training (I know I’ve made this mistake before… my abs hurt like crazy and I could barely stand up!).

Most important of all is that you need to be determined. Your results may sometimes not turn out like how you want them to be. But if you want to get those fast abs, you need to maintain a good rigorous training program and eat healthy foods. Whenever you see a person who has a nice 6-pack, you’ll know that they’ve been taking extremely good care of their body! You have to do the same thing too! You’re going to have to change your lifestyle up a bit, but remember that in the end, it’s all going to be worth it.
